5 members of the Monday Lunch club hit the Point today, fishing 7 rods between them.

Tony was in his usual spot and as usual, led the way with Dabs, small Codling and small Whiting.

I found a small Codling early on to beat the blank.

Things remained quiet for everyone but Tony, who steadily caught.

It was time to pack up as it was nearing school run time and upon reeling in for the last time, a slug had taken a fancy to my Lug and Squid.

Phil and Mick left fishless, i had just the 2 littleuns and Tony and Mike were still at it when i left. Im sure a more detailed report will follow off the boss.

It was a good turnout at 'Flash Point' when I was passing on Castwatch duties.
With Tony, Mickfish and Phil the Bill already setup and Headwyn just arriving, I was persuaded to nip home and get my rod!

On my return, Tony had already had a couple. A Dab and a Codling I think.
Headwyn was getting some interest on his 'close in' rod.

A small Codling got him off the mark!

Using Tony's rigs and Tony's bait, Myself, Mick and Phil were all quiet.
Tony however, was into a steady trickle of fish as usual.

The bigger of these two Dabs weighed in at a pan sized 11oz.

Headwyn sneaked a Rockling for the species hunt.

Despite ended up with a blank, it was a thouroughly enjoyable session.
Tony's 'Flash Point' annecdote was worth the money alone!

Happy Days!!!

I am guessing that its a sit inside. Do you have any rod rests fitted? or anchoring equipment?
