great day out

went out on Tight Lines again Thursday Billy wanted to give Tywyn a try as Trevor hasn't been fishing that well lately. we launched at Aberdovey as it was a bit choppy at Tywyn and headed out to a mark billy had been given. we tried a few places on the way for mackerel without success but at leased we got to see a few Dolphin close in to the boat. as for the fishing it was very slow with only dabs whiting and dogs mostly to billy but i did manage a huss around the 7 lb mark. we did a bit of drifting over the reefs hoping for pollock or an early bass but no luck. we met up with a lad from liverpool Mike he was fishing alone on his boat i think it was called Lazy daz he had much the same as we had.
by the time we got back in we had well topped up our sun tan as the weather was great all the time we were out.
as always a great day out with great company and a few fish roll on summer. not much to take pics of today.

On the subject of Dolphins I hear they were feeding close in at Colwyn Bay this morning hopefully they left a few fish for us.

Sounds as though you had a nice day a shame you did not have a lot of luck on the fish front better luck next time.
