Shell weekend

Arranged to meet some of my buddies for a get together at shell island ,set of fri morning from stoke ,lovely morning and stopped for a break at Bala , never seen Bala so calm there wasn't a breath of wind !!

Then next stop shell got there and set tent up ,sea was flat calm and only a very little surf


With no plans on fishing fri ,only chilling a went down to the estuary to dig some maddies for a session tomorrow two hour either side of low . Went for the maddies because lack of surf . Soon had enough for a session

Then had a bit of chilling time with steph


Joining me Friday was mike and Ross and Jim ..had a good chilling night and had a few beers , was very warm and humid ..

Mike had a little session fri in the estuary and had one flounder on fresh black
Woke up sat morning to rain but it was still very warm .. Fished two hour either side of low with mike Ross and Jim .jim blanked and mike , it was very tuff in the calm sea I had on flounder on the maddies and Ross had one flounder on frozen black ..



Then was joined by logger and misses logger ..and his mate dave .


Had good night plenty food and beer and good laugh , would have been better fishing at night but having the crack and beer was more like it lol !!!
With some bait left over I had a little session on my fav high water bass mark just one hour each side of high with dave .. Woke up at 5.30 and fished untill 7 ish dave blanked and I had three flounder on the maddies


Had great time ,good crack the fishing wasn't fantastic but that's sea fishing ..good to see you all lads and many thanks for turning up ..
