The Splash Point nets have definately gone.
Word has it that there are some more closer to Prestatyn though.

On a more positive note, reports of some stonking fish coming out locally.

Give it a go Ian!!!!

Myself, I'm on work experiance crewing on Clueless too tomorrow.
Target for the day...........
Tope to 50lb, a Double figure Bass and a 1lb Dab.
I'll keep you posted Smile

This is a letter sent to Rhyl Journal by a disgruntled beach user

WHILE walking along the
beach at Splash Point last
week my six year old son,
who had run ahead of us,
became badly entangled in
monofilament.
It took my wife and I a
while to free him and luckily
the tide was not encroaching
too close. Further inspection
revealed that he was caught
in a large net. It was tethered
at one end to a groyne
and the other end fixed into
the sand. There was another
net attached to the next
groyne which had six dead
fish and weed. It was distressing
and disgusting.
There is a disaster waiting
to happen here. Fortunately
we were there to release our
son, but these nets need
removing before a tragedy
occurs. If you walk towards
Ffrith from Splash Point you
will soon find them at the
end of the groynes.

I walked to the end of the prom past Robin Hood camp this morning at low and didnt see any nets.
