not been to colwyn bay prom this year so decided to give it a go over high water.
got there at 9-00pm and set up the 2 rods with 2/0 and 4/0 hooks hoping for a codling or 2.
9-15 first bite and a whiting after that I was getting lots of bites but not hooking up so changed all the hooks to 2/0s and was rewarded with double header of whiting. there was a lot of rods out and I did see fish being landed don't know if there was any codling.
the good thing about the prom is you don't get wet if it rains you can fish from the car. 12-00 came and I headed back home happy with the night out and a few fish that all went back.
finished up with 1 dog 3 dabs and 8 whiting so not a bad night in all.
and I think you are right dave he is nuts but so are the rest of us
