Mersey rays

Myself & Andrew met up with Kev & a few more of the wirrial forum lads on Sunday & had a go for rays in the mersey with Andrew managing two    & me a small whiting. Then the tide began to pull so we went to the café for a breakfast & met up again across the river to wait for the tide & wade to the channel another first for us & boy oh boy what a walk when we got in the middle.There were hounds & other fish being caught from what I could see.Met wild goose who was fishing there aswell (nice to meet you)he had a tope pup too I managed a double shot of dabs on the last chuck really enjoyed the day got burnt to a frazzle we shall no doubt have another go shortly to see if we can nail a hound
