Staying at pontins Prestatyn for a few days(for all my sins!).. How's the local beaches fishing? Don't wanna travel too far. What's barkby beach like?

On these size tides at the moment Mostyn would be a good bet but Joe Roberts could tell you better

Had a drive upto Holyhead breakwater.. The only bit of fishing we did! Only caught whiting and codling, nothing to write home about, very windy!! Beer kinda took over from the fishing..in the pub instead of on a beach!
