A carp day's fishing is still better than a good day at work

Today's venue:
Makins Fishery, Wolvey,

Target: Double figure Carp
Tackle: feeder rods and poles
Bait: pretty well everything!
Weather: not looking good!

We settled on fishing "The Crater" - mainly to get some shelter from the biting wind







Four and a half hours passed in no time, but the conditions got grimmer and grimmer with a red warning issued and when the going got tough, the tough got going ( home )

But not before Pete broke the blank




( just been listening to the Coast Guard forecast, Gale Force 12 Hurricane Strength out in the Irish Sea, stay in reading back reports and stay safe! )

Well done Paul a great three day trip thanks for the reports and pictures shame the last day was not a very nice day but the first two days made up for it. One or two pictures for the album put Dave's little Plaice to shame.
