Pensarn fri night sat morning 24/25/5/13

After the bass action in the week I decided I wonted more at weekend and big tides ,and the wind forecast to die down after the very heavy winds Wednesday and Thursday my hopes where high .. I went penmeanmawr to get some big low lug then made my way back o pensarn to meet my good old friend graham ..also joining us was John aka spud gun ..


Wind was a turning more to a north eastlie making it very hard to hold bottom and weed was a nightmare ,fished up to high and had enough ..I had one blank saving dab and John had a pin whiting

Had a sleep in car and woke up to pump some blacks at morning low with it being a big tide I soon had plenty blacks for a session and some for the freezer ,plus a bucket full of razor for the freezer washed up from the storms ...
What a difference a day makes sea flat calm.. to calm for bass but plenty colour and plenty of food washed up ,so thought I would be in with a chance but scaled down my tackle .size 1 flapper Rigs for flatties our a bonus bass.. Cut long story short fishing was very poor ,but great to be chilling on the beach on such a lovely day end result two flounder both caught on razor ...

Tim I thought you said you were going down to one rod but I see you have gone back to two. Now I now why it's because you couldn't use all the bait you get in a session with just one rod.
