I`m afraid that 16 experienced match anglers fishing with the best bait available failed to find any of the reported codling or whiting from this venue last night. We did however find the expected 5 bearded rockling and a few small flounders, the only exception being a flounder of 1-08-12 lbs. which ,with a rockling made up the winning bag for Dave Jones. (ex)Newbie Al was 2nd with 6 rockling. and Darren maintained his lead in the league with 4th place.

If you lads can't catch them, what chance do the rest of us have!
Well done to Dave!
