Venue - Splash Point, Rhyl
Tide - High
Time - Night
Bait: Frozen Lug

After last nights great result, I decided to try my luck once again at Splash Point.

It was a pleasant surprise to bump into both Squidward and The Maestro.
If that isn’t a sign of a venue fishing well, I don’t know what is.

Mehmet opened the proceedings with a couple of Whiting followed by a cracking Dab weighing in a shade over 12oz.

Terry had been into the Dabs, Whiting and a lone Rockling making it 3 species all caught on Ragworm.

I had a triple header first cast. 2 Dabs and a Whiting.
It was a fish every cast tonight.
Another 2 Dabs taking my Frozen Lug.

Mehmet was using big hooks in the hope of something bigger. It was not to be!
Just the occasional Dab for his more ambitious setup.

Terry and I continued to catch with each chuck.
Lots of double headers amongst them.

Mehmet and I called it a day and left Terry to use up his freah bait.
We must have had over 30 fish between us and Terry was still catching as we left.

Another fun night was had at Splash Point.

Happy Days!!!
