| Three of us set off Friday tea time for the holderness hoping we would be able to fish spurn somewhere but on arrival it just wasn't going to be fishable we looked at easington kilnsea & spurn by the lighthouse no chance at all wind was coming westerly as we debated fishing river side off the point into the channel. But after deciding it was too much of a hike to find it very uncomfortable & cold because of the wind in our faces we decided on south side of the river stallinborough arrived there got fishing not a sausage not even a bite pretty much the same story all the way along the wall apart from two lads in the next bay who caught a 3lb codling.Left at 6am & made the journey back not the best of nights but gear all cleaned & ready for the next bash cant come quick enough |
