Dunbeath pics

To start with im in Scotland clearing forests to put up these things.



Usually operate this.



Sometimes this, which is just aswell seeing as i wasn't
able to take my rod stand with me due to lack of room
so i cut these sticks to make do.




Dunbeath Bay.



Went to fish the beach but met a local called Graham who suggested i try on the rocks beneath the castle.



Lots of these fellers about but not any fish.




looked like a good mark.



But only managed a crab.



The next trip out i tried the harbour.



Got some of these chaps, only small but still pleased with them.





When i get round to fishing these other spots



Im going here to make a fortune


The local chap Graham lives here lucky so and so.



He lives right on the beach and makes all sorts of tackle to be sold around the country,
these are his own idea and seem to be worth checking out !




Only going to be at Dunbeath until the new year so will try to get as much fishing in as possible
then im off to Aberdeen or so im told where the adventure will continue

Ace pics mate, looks very fishy to me. Those cottages are something else, jammy gits who live there. Mind you they may be too far from the pub.

There's a great pub at the top of the hill so you can work up a thirst getting there then roll all the way home
They've got everything there apart from stress !

Great photo's. Well done on the fish. It's a lovely part of the country. We called in at Wick on the way to John O'groats earlier on in the year.

Amazing coincidence you being called "logger" what are the chances of that happening!

Great report, given the expense of transporting lead i reckon you should put a deal together (unless you are flying back! )

Its cheaper to drive than fly from there besides you should see it !
It must be the only airport to have a runway with a cattle grid on it lol
Air traffic control is a bloke with a mega phone
And on top of that the boss drives most of the time so its not so bad really

Very good pictures dave . Looks a cracking spot you got a hard job you have kid . Going try get up over the Xmas period and have a crack at talacre you fancy it if your at home young man x
