Weever mission Empty
PostSubject: Weever mission   Weever mission EmptyTue Jul 24, 2012 6:04 pm

Had a bit of left over bait from Sundays boat match so headed to the point over high to nail my Weever for the species hunt.

2 rods, one 3 hook rig with size 6 hooks and one pulley pennel with 3/0s incase of a bonus schoolie.

First cast with the mini rig accounted for this, small but perfectly formed Weever.

First cast on the pennel also accounted for a weever which fell to lug and crab and had actually taken the 3/0 in its gob!

Next cast on the mini rig was a Weever and micro Whiting double header, then i switched over to pennels on both rods in the hope of a schoolie or a bonus Eel.

No more fish, just a little more sunburn.

Might try the foryd tomorrow with the remaining crab.

Happy Days!

Thats my favorite kind of fishing maccy bashing ! In a sporting way using a spinner on light gear of course geek
Not as good as a Bass (i expect Embarassed ) but beats a weever.... rock paper scissors farao

IT sounds like the veiw of llandudno beach on A weekend lol! lol!
