Tuesday lunchtime took a break from work to watch the Olympic Flame enter Abergele



but by evening thoughts turned from gold medals to silver bars,

Caught up with Newbie Al as the tide turned, a bit more algae than last night but not enough to meddle with the fishing.

My first cast with the Bass rod and a pull down that didn't connect, an hour later and my last cast was much the same,

Alan however was on the winner's podium tonight
