Too knackered Friday I left it to Mehmet and Al.
Made it to the beach for Saturday afternoon Low, lots of inland vegetation washed up on the beach, husked out crab and assorted other stuff including heart urchins
A rockling for Al
In the fish it back to High things were looking desperate
but sustained on surprise chips delivered "Al Fresco" ( Nice one Al a great gesture! ) we stuck it long enough for him to conjure up a whiting
Sunday and the Castwatch spotter planes were up Tuna spotting,
but all three of us blanked over Low at Splash;
Mehmet and I headed for Pensarn for Saturday Midnight High (mucky looking water down there) near millpond conditions, undisturbed by fish until my 8inch whiting hitched a lift to shore
Rockling and whiting - is it Winter again? Possibly not, we stopped by Splash on the ebb to see what was happening and learned the first Weever of the Summer has been reported!
Bank Holiday Monday, I was too knackered to bother but -Al and the Maestro last seen following the Ebb East of Splash - good effort -it takes heart!
(When the going gets tough, I go shopping!)
