| Venue - Menai Bridge Tide - Low Time - Day Bait - Mack, squid, lug, rag Date - 11th November 2009Went on an outing with codnchips to Menai bridge. First time we have fished here. Looked an interesting spot but we managed to blank. Codnchips was a top chap providing me with some lugworm for nothing. In return I bought him his lunch, of course it was cod & chips. Also dropped in at Anglesea tackle centre. Nice chap in there was telling us how well all of Anglesea was fishing at the moment. He could not believe we blanked, dogs were a certainty at that location. I explained that we never seem to be bothered by dogfish , and that we are two of the biggest blankers going. Anyway, it was a super morning. More like June than November… |

| Hi Mick,
Cross the bridge on the A55 and take immediate slip road.
Turn left at T junction then almost immediate left down a small road to a church and car parking area.
Walk down through the church yard.
It looks fishable at the point where you first get to the water. We chose to climb over a few rocks to get a bit closer to the bridge. Quite slippery underfoot tho.

| Oh yes that`s one of my old haunts from about 35 years ago, we used to get some decent bass from in front of Nelson in the summer, and codling at this time of the year. There used to be a good run of codling there in February and March as well, but I think those days are gone now, sadly. |
