My new Personal Best ( and I forgot I'd got toothache)

Personal Best Bass 21 April 2012

My third session of this weekend was drawing to an end,
over 13 hours of fishing and all I'd got to show for it was a micro-flattie.

Al had shot off, Maestro and I were resigned to packing up on another blank,
I was dog-tired, my shoulders were down, I'd a raging toothache and I was more than ready for a beer.

WHAAAMM! Suddenly things changed Big Style!

"This feels big" I'm thinking as I played it in



My first bass of the season and it's a personal best at 65 cm !!!
Maestro's scales made it 3.25kg which equals 7lb 2 oz

( my own scales notoriously underweigh but made it 6lb 9 oz )

Bait was fresh lug with Razor tip on a 2/0 pulley pennell
