Did the usual Friday afternoon trek up to Llandudno (picking up Steve on the way, then the usual abuse at Jokers, but the bait is worth the abuse, especially the "special blacks" he keeps me).
After parking in the last available parking space (again) we got to the end of the pier around 5:30 so decided to fish the platform at the end, mistake, I knew there was a reason I haven't fished there for years, I lost 2 rigs in quick succession (even with rotten bottoms on).
We binned the platform after an hour or so and set up in front of the cafe, considering we were (for the 1st time in ages) fishing a rising tide and a biggish one the fishing was very slow, we caught whiting, codling, and pout. Steve seemed to specialise in catching starfish !!

I think its the last time we do the Pier for a while due to the clocks going back so from now on its back to the Island (Amlwch this week is favourite).
Fair play though, I only took the membership of the pier to save me some fuel in the winter months so it has more than served its purpose.
