Always Have A Plan C !

Venue - Rhyl, Marina Wall
Tide - High
Time - Day
Bait: Fresh Lug
Date: 9th March 2009

Plan A was to fish Splash Point over high.
A strong Westerly ruled that out!

Plan B was to fish Marine Lake.
The tide was out when I arrived

Plan C, Rhyl Marina Wall it was then!!!!!!

With good shelter from the strong wind and fishing practically from the car, I spent a pleasant hour or so fishing a very comfortable venue.
I'm not sure whether my 2 target fish, Flounder and Silver Eel, are even present in the harbour at this time of year.
Only one way to find out

The new floating pontoon looks finished.

I did have a definate bite just after high. No fish landed though.
Baits were getting stripped by crabs on each cast.

A cracking little tour of local venues followed by a nice easy session made for yet another pleasant start to the week.

Shows how effective the harbour is at providing shelter.

The new mullet fishing platform looks like it might get misused by boat owners though. Wink
