Running out for plan's

Me and mark had a 10hr trip yesterday with simon onbourd suveran
it was are first trip of the year as are previous 3 trips were all cancelled.



We sailed at 8:30am and were hoping the mackerel were showing so
we could have ago for some tope. We were soon at are first mark(first of many)





Fishing was slow really slow    with only the odd dogfish,pin whiting and dabs being caught.





So after a few hours we decided to move as did the other boat's (plan b)



We thought we'd found the fish with huss a ray more pin whiting ,dogfish and dabs and even a small gurnard all being caught









After this chap caught this ray we killed him



But he was soon bought back to life when has dad put a whiting on his face    

Then the fishing went down hill with very little being caught we even had simon scratching has head as into were to go next
so we moved near a small wreck (plan c) and the fishing was terrible so we moved over to prestatyn to seen if we could catch
some smoothounds (plan d)



Happy days we've found some fish  smoothounds,rays,huss and some good sized dabs were all being caught
after 8hrs of searching we found some decent fish  















It was a hard days fishing the mackerel never shown up apart from an handful but we were just happy to get out
I must say thank you to simon for really trying for us i hope the fishing get's better for my next trip.

Yeah really lumpy but once we anchored up it wasn't to bad
