short one last night

Went for a quick session last night close to home on the strength of the weather reports, but the breeze forecast didn't
turn up resulting in a calm, clear sea. :
Fished 2 down 2 up with frozen crab and didn't get a bite until the tide turned, then got a couple of small codling, two small
bass and a starry pup, all in the last hour, nothing of any size but welcome all the same as i thought i was heading for
a big fat blank !!
