with the mrs started her new job last week. my fishing times are limited as she now works weekends and nights. what with a couple of weddings coming up and a trip to see take that (dont laugh) im finding it hard to get out even local.
so tonight shes on nights. and i walk the dog every night i thought tonight i'll sneek a rod out for an hour.
loaded a few bits in a bucket 3 crabs and the old lad in tow we headed down the river to a special spot and when the run is right produces the odd plaice and fluke.
set up within 5 minutes of leaving home.
not even took the slack line in and a bite straight away resulting in a small plaice.
unhooked rebait back out again and 2 little snotty eel's. then another flattie bite and this time a fluke.
and finally exactley an hour later my last fish a tiny fluke.
with the cobwebs blown away. ive had a pass out in the morning to go and fish mal and kevs special place. all be it if its not raining.
