When a plan to fish the Mersey tonight fell through I was almost glad to be putting my feet up instead;
but it only took one shout to get me out on Rhyl beach for Low tonight. Afterall you gotta be in it to win it.

90 minutes after Low that looked like being it, we called time and I began the long wind in.
Having waded out to cast and then opened the bale arm and paid out line a couple of times
retreating from the flood there was a lot of winding to do.

The lead seemed to be dragging heavy -then one splashed in the shallows

I'm finding the nitrile gloves excellent,
much more durable than vinyl or latex, they don't tear and they lock the heat into your hands and keep the iodine & stink out without losing sensitivity, helps you stay out there & focussed in the chilly times. I believe they also reduce heat stress for the fish.
