The Calm After The Storm! Empty
PostSubject: The Calm After The Storm!   The Calm After The Storm! EmptySat Apr 03, 2010 11:09 pm

Venue - Splash Point, Rhyl
Tide - Low
Time - Dusk
Bait - Frozen Razor
Date - 1st April 2010

24hrs ago, this stretch of coastline was getting battered by a winds gusting to 40mph.
Whilst the sea state had now subsided, the abbundance of dislodged shell fish was evidence of yesterdays storm.
The gully's were full of clam, razor and mussel shells. With thousands of Brittle Stars and loads Whelks still alive. I guess the Seagulls are fussy eaters!!!!!!!

I came armed with Frozen Razor on a 2 hook Wormy Clip Down rig.

Dusk came and went without a bite.
No fish, but enjoyable forraging in the gullys.
A few nice additions to the shell collection(yes I have one!) but that was about it.

Happy Days!!!
