I had half a hope of a late Codling or an early Bass at Splash Point this morning.
Even a Dab, a Flounder or a Rockling would be an improvement on recent sessions!

The fresh Lug and 2 Hook Clip Downs were courtesy of Wormy.
A tiny surf was present, propelled by a mild Westerley wind.

A peacefull uneventfull couple of hours followed.
With no action on the rod, the only thing of note was the sight, in the distance, of about 12 people going for an early morning dip.
Was it an RNLI training exercise?
A late finish to a stag do?
or maybe some form of Charity event?

We're running out of ways of saying at least you got out, tried etc!!!

7 degrees as I drove up the prom tonight and the weather had improved a lot from earlier, but they'd gritted. I stayed home

We'll have to dream of T-shirt bass fishing for a little longer.
