Cheeky Monday

I had today off (a very rare thing) so nipped down to wet a line by the arches.

Two hours of thrashing away in a very small tide, 6.34m, resulted in two Pin Whiting which were caught on a shrimp rig and Two Mackerel on the white day light type of feathers, not the best session by far but it was a nice way to start the week and I didn't blank plus I got a Whiting for my species hunt so happy days

First time I've caught a Whiting from the shore on lures  



A lively Mackerel, even the small ones kick when caught on light gear

I couldn't think of a better way to start the week and no blank, even better

On an angler's calendar there is Saturday and Sunday, then Monday which is followed by Tues and with the next weekend still feeling too far away it can often be a case of WTF I'm going fishing
