| Hi All
Was going to give Mostyn a go over high by the funship this week, so took a stroll down to have a look at the sandbanks, just to make sure not much had changed. All looked good until i noticed a net has been put across the main channel just past the turning point half way down the funship end, so i will give that a miss.
Will look for another venue now.
thanks. |

thanks. Always a good idea to check spots out. You could try Connah's quay dock, easy access.fish one hour before and three too four hours after high.Smallish tides at the moment, and not much freshwater coming down the Dee.Definately flattie time. (running ledger, small Aberdeen hooks)(black lug/lug with mackerel strips.) Good luck |

| Hi Rebsie, another option is to the right of Prestatyn boat club. (looking out to sea) When the weather is rough, the lads at the club use that venue. Plenty of assorted species. Car park and an easy walk. Some nice silvers have been caught. |
