I don't know why this mark is known as Talacre as Point of Ayr would seem more appropriate to me.

Apparently the most northerly point in mainland Wales. I have also fished the similarly named Point of Ayre, which is northerly point of the Isle of Man.

A few things these have in common ... beach ... lighthouses  ... and my ability to blank fishing these marks!

Hour and a half up from low this morning. One more starfish and a crab.

I'm going to try fishing half a mile further east later. The sea seems to be getting further away every time I walk out. scratch

Fished again this evening. Yomped further east. Got lots of rattles here which made the fishing more interesting. No hookup though.

One starfish and a whelk!

One more day to try and catch something.

You could try to the right of Prestayn boat club,it's in the same area.
It has the reputation of being'Bassy'
Black lug and squid cocktails on a running ledger rig.(large circle hook)
Plenty of parking space and only a short walk.
