Pensarn Up and Down

Hi

Had a couple of goes over the past week at Pensarn.
2 of us fished down to low last Thursday evening just left of the pipes, no bites which means no fish, but no rain either.
Was good to see the gulleys though for future reference and was good to try out the new waders from Christmas, NO LEAKS, happy days.

Tried again last night up to High only a small tide but nice to get out, hopes were high but alas no bites and no fish again, thats 3 blanks on the run for me, i would have given my right arm just to get a whiting last night.
Hopefully it will start to warm up soon and the silvers will be back, on a plus note the sunset was amazing.
bait used, fresh lug, frozen squid and bluey.

A few plaice starting to come out around the wirral so summer is on the way.

The seagulls are shouting a lot this week, so summer must be coming!

It's the transition period this time of the year,never much doing.
Won't be long before the Mackerel are back.
