No back on the beach

Fished New Brighton again this morning. This time a bit further west at a mark known as the T Groyne.

1 hour down, 2.5 up. Squid and lug. No bites. I did land two jellyfish and a crab (no back bones).

A guy spinning off the Groyne did catch some schoolies as the tide came in. He also caught the attention of the RNLI, concerned he was going to get cut off. The tide comes in quick behind the groyne and there is a gully behind much of it.

A pleasant few hours but fish-less again.

No fish as such but you've successfully joined the groyne to the backbone so maybe need to get a rib...
