| Decided on Splashpoint for an hour or two across daytime High last Wednesday. Two were already fishing, and one arrived same time as me followed by two more. I set up a few yards West of the "splashy light". So six were fishing, at least 8 rods between us and half an hour after High I was cold and hungry. all ready to pack up, if anyone had caught I hadn't noticed. That's when suddenly things changed, as Steve Bee brought in something silver and it wasn't an icicle! Under 42cm and returned It didn't seem so cold now! Well done Steve! _________________ we call it fishing not catching!

| That was a good catch considering the temperature and time of year. Snowman weather today where I live. |

| I won't be venturing out in this cold spell, especially in this transitional period between the winter and summer species. When I get the opportunity I will definately be giving using a large metal swim feeder loaded with chum and oil as a weight, (Maybe with a weight also) My theory is the sea is a big pond, and a scent trail will defintely attract fish in the area. I used to be weatherproof, but not these days |

Ventured out to Pensarn ( the pipes) for a couple of hours over High today, Tina had a good pull down bite and felt the fish but it didn't stay on. No bites for me. Snow on the hills just a few feet up from sea level, We could feel the temperature falling again, 4 degrees when we packed up, had a bit more snow shortly after. | Not sure thicker blood helps when it is cold! I'd half a plan to fish the overnight High last night but was more seized up than seize the opportunity! _________________ we call it fishing not catching!
