EXperimental rig? Empty
PostSubject: EXperimental rig?   EXperimental rig? EmptyThu Jun 04, 2020 9:54 pm

Fishing for baitfish?
Seems like Sabiki rigs are a pain for tangling,so much so I don't bother with them.
I'm trying an idea out on a new rig, tying small hooks on one line with no
out riggers. No chance of tangles I hope.
With lead heads, the hooks stick out at right angles to the line,so hooks tied on one line should present the same.
I little piece of silver foil on each hook should act as the 'feathers'
Or even a small piece of mackerel underbelly skin.
We all need sandeels and small fish for bait/live bait,so maybe this might be an easier setup.
I'll be trying the rig out as soon as they lift the lockdown ban lol!

I always cut sabiki rigs in half as they do come a bit too long
