Was hoping to get some shore fishing in whilst on holiday but trying to obtain a fishing licence was nye on impossible if your not Portuguese Mad

Did however get a trip out on a charter boat, the boat has a licence which covers all on board so we got round it that way king

It was only a four hour trip but very enjoyable under the hot sun sunny

All the fish we caught were small but it was nice to catch some different species, think there were 7 species in all fish
We caught Bream and Groupers mainly and what the other fish were called ive no idea as the skipper only knew their names in Portuguese Arrow

The marina was packed with Mullet but there's no fishing allowed there  Rolling Eyes

Pity we didn't catch anything bigger but as always it was a treat to get out Cool bye

The fish in the top picture (which i think may be a Scorpion fish) is like our own Weever in that it's spines are very nasty if touched, the skipper kept shouting DON'T TOUCH DON'T TOUCH whenever one was caught Exclamation

Well done there Dave, It is allways good to see what is in the water when on holiday.
It is sometimes easier to apply for overseas fishing liscenses before you go.
