A controllable,adaptable rig.
A clip on the main line,3ft length of 30lb-40lb mono,on one end of mono,a swivel,then a bead,then a zip slider,then a bead and another swivel.
Then your trace of choice clipped onto the swivel.
The weight would be changeable,the hook rig would be easily changeable,
and the whole setup would be like a bolt rig.
There would be less tangles,and rebaiting could be quicker if you had a pre baited hooklength ready.
In effect,it would be a controlled 3ft running ledger and a bolt rig.
