Met up with Dave Rob for a fish. The weather all day looked bob on for some decent fishing however when we got to the beach the surf suggested Michael Fish may have got it wrong again.
Fishing from 20:30 down through the ebb, weed was a nightmare until high water was breached. Meaning the first hour we were holding our rods high to keep them out the weed.
Had some amazing crab, blow and eel. However only one fish for our efforts.
Proper slack liner and this lovely bar fell to me.
He went back brilliantly swimming off into the clear water.
Encouraged we fished on into the dark but alas no other action
until next time....
