Shetland june 8th & 9th 2019

That time of year again & could I sleep Thursday night could I heck like a kid at Christmas again Friday soon arrived & off we went heading for Aberdeen again only thing different was there'd been a mix up over the ferry & cabins. As we were to find out hours after arriving early it ended up us having to have sleeping pods never again we all said it was impossible to sleep even after a good few we were shattered when we arrived never mind got on the boat at Culivoe. the weather was great but turned not so great shortly after getting out to the marks really big swells wind and rain fishing was really slow for up there but we persevered & were rewarded with plenty cod plenty 20lbers among them pete won the sweep with a 24lber. We had a better day on day two cod to 23lb coalies to 19lb & a surprise 22lb ling for me all filleted on the way in & ready for the teatime ferry. we stayed in Kenny's new digs this time what a great addition they are cant wait for the august trip now ill put on more photos & video as I can folks
