Flatty bashing at Mostyn.

Had some peeler crab left from the weekend because storm Hannah persuaded me not to bother fishing our club match, so Kev and I had a session at Mostyn. We don`t do things the easy way so we walked all the way round the bay to the muddy end behind the factory I`ll be washing all my gear today.
We had a good session, with plaice, flounder, and some good dabs coming out in ones and twos nearly every cast, the pick of them was my plaice of 1lb-14oz.

Looks a nice Plaice,and a good weight.
sounds like the season is well underway.
Good luck with your clean up.

Hand washing I hope, or a new machine might be on prospect, ain't half muddy there!

It must be an age thing, I sat in the house watching the trees bending sideways and the windows getting hosed down with rain, and I thought `just how much am I going to enjoy this`, so I said stuff it.
