Nipped down to Tan Lan tonight for my first session of 2019
Fished the tide down for 45 mins and about 15 mins back up.
There was quite a bit of weed left behind by the retreating tide so I opted for a wishbone rig with short snoods armed with some frozen lug
It did the trick as I didn't hook into any weed at all
I had 3 Whiting in the first 20 minutes then non stop knocks which didn't connect with anything.
As the flood began I had a series of almighty raps resulting in a nice fish
I decided it would be best to end on a high and that last fish would be hard to beat in the limited time I had after all it is a school night
Was good to get out even for an hour
