Met up with Alec and Graeme to fish 3 hours down to low on the mussel beds....pretty disappointing given the favourable conditions,with Alec taking 2 nice plaice,1 flounder for Gra and 1 flounder n whiting for me

After a chippy tea we headed for Rossall Point to fish the last 3 hours of the flood...a nice onshore breeze and a 28ft tide were perfect as the pull/weed would be fine,and we could stay on the beach for the full session.
It did`nt take long until Gra took the first codling

Alec had one shortly after,then i had a good run of 5 codling with a nice 1-10-0 bass as a bonus...

Gunna be having a few sessions at Rossall this winter as it`s one of those marks where a good cod or bass is always on the cards

Decent session with a nice bass thrown in, will be trying to fish the Mersey a bit more for cod this year.
