Pensarn 14/10/18

With lots of work and family stuff getting in the way of my fishing I was desperate to get out (needed some fishing therapy)
With the options on the table of Ty’n Tywyn and Pensarn but with the recent gales putting some life in the sea and a strong possibility of weed spoiling our session we decided on Pensarn after some Bass

Fished Low up 9am - 12:30
Low 1.4m Over Cast
Nice little surf

I arrived on the beech a little late to the sight of Dave Roberts landing a nice 1lbs + Bass. Happy days!!!



I’d missed a couple of bites then finally connected with a good bite indication and a fairly hefty weight on the retrieve was this the Bass I was after????






Nice dog fish for the specimen hunt at 2lbs 6oz D’oh (no Dogfish in the hunt this year).
Then my battery died on my phone but luckily I had a spare camera in my bag.




We were all having a busy session with Bass, Whiting and Dogs

But still no Bass for me! So I thought I’d put a rolling lead on see if it would make any difference
