me and a friend decided to go fishing for the second day running and thought we'd give somewhere in treardur bay a go. found a rocky mark that we thought might produce and it didn't disappoint. with ragworm and shrimp for bait it was non stop for 4 hours with ballan/corkwing/goldsinny/rock cook and even a cuckoo wrasse with a few small pollock showing as well. only problem was the amount of tackle we lost, that was until we found a nice hole full of fish but anything of any size was lost very quickly as they went straight into areas we couldn't free them, or our tackle from. my mate (also called simon) had the biggest fish, a ballan of around 1lb 8oz. no pics sorry, shame because it was such a nice day as well

not as much as the rag but better quality fish. lost some good fish though. they just dived straight into the weed or rocks and we couldn't land them. lost one good fish which resulted in some very large scales being left on my hook. possibly a mullet?
