7lb bass at Hoyle Bank

Sorry meant 7lb of bass made up of 14 schoolies.No sign of life until 2 hours after low water when the silvers came on the feed...fish a chuck on blow lug until I left at 4.45pm....could have carried on for another 30 mins at least until the water breached the bank.Good sport but I'd rather just snare one good fish....got the lie of the land now so a session in darkness might do better...

Not quite....park up on Beach Rd which is off Stanley Rd (Chris Boardman,Olympic cyclist lives in the big house at the bottom)...about 1 mile east of Hilbre Island

Cheers Kev,I thought I reckonised the "Hoyle"bit.
I've been to Hoylake a few times,but never fished it.
That 'Lap over' tidal marina further down the Dee was heaving with sandeels last time I was there.

And there was me thinking another candidate for Fish O T M, gutted!
