We lost a new anchor out of Prestatyn a couple of years ago,we charted the spot and went back with a couple of divers the following week.We found the anchor,but the divers said the visibilty was down to 6''
because of the Algae.
I was amazed that I caught a 4lb silver on the same day.Just goes to prove,they must hunt by smell as well as sight.
I've wondered if it stops the mackerel from coming in until it clears a bit.

That's great,with a bit of luck we might get some mackerel being caught soon.
Sunday and Monday are looking good for launching at Rhyl.

[quote="Logger"]Stinking today No

It was the same at Splash Point last night, I could smell it from my house. I think the bloom is over and it`s all dying off and rotting now. I went down for a look and there were still a few little smoothies being caught at high water.
