hi all,A short session at mostyn this morning either side of low.Bait was lug which was past its best to say the least.Nothing doing save a few pin whiting until the first of the flood,then a nice early season plaice! At 42cm and just over 2lb.Stuck it out for another hour or so,but nothing else.....cheers

A 2lb plaice at this time of year is pretty rare....nice catch laaaaaaaaa

What a cracking fish for February, I hope it`s a sign of things to come.

Wasn't expecting it at this time of year,was trying for a couple of dabs,but they seem to have disappeared.Isn't it supposed to be peak time for dabs,or am I mistaken.Read somewhere that dabs are now commercially viable thanks to hugh fernally f....k.f...ce.I suppose that will be another speciese down the pan.,,ah well!
