Took the boat out today.

Nice day for taking the boat out only F2 today and nice and flat, fished the high tide just outside Rhyl Harbour in around 40ft of water. I fished for 3 & 1/2 hours, in total I caught 20 Whiting, 5 Dabs, 5 Star Fish and a fish that I have never caught before ever and I do not known what it is called, picture below.

I think that's a "Shore Rockling"

Typical, as soon as my boat comes out the water it's like a mill pond out there. I'm not jealous at all ..... honest.

A very nice day out,and great pics.Wish I lived so close to the harbour.
Got my engine off the boat for a pep up,ready for the new season.
I'm lifting the transom 3"to get the height spot on.
Looking forward to a break in the weather.

Your right I have just Googled Shore Rockling and it its a match.

Yes is great living near the sea and harbour I moved my boat here 4 years ago and then retired and moved here just over 2 years ago to be near the sea and harbour its a great place to live and the fishing is really good.
