Fished it last Sunday, few hours up and a few down. It was quite a high tide so could risk and had kids with me so could risk any "closer" spots but fished anyway. Had an itch to scratch, fishing on the brain at the moment.
Weather was wicked, sun shone pretty much all day and it was warm too when it was out. Wind was another story, not too much but cold.
Water was coloured so I didn't bother spinning/feathers.
We had 4 rods out between us, we had only worm baits. Black, Blow and Rag. It was very quiet, I missed one bite and caught one wrasse. Old Gregg caught a blank saving whiting as we were packing up. Still good to be out....knew we should have joined Logger at Talacre.
Anyone else noticed there is always dead sheep next to the path down to fishing marks?
