Cod and tube worms

Might be a good mark for the elusive cod.
I believe Cod feed on tube worms.
I had a walk a couple of years ago on Llandulas beach at low tide(facing the pub)
There was loads of tube worm burrows(coral)
Maybe the cod might be feeding on them.
Could try from the beach,or take a boat in at high tide.
Maybe the Cod have gone off the scouse cuisine in the Mersey and are having a change of diet.
Thought I'd mention it in case it's worth a try.
Lug and squid for bait maybe?

I won't be coming out to play until the weather gets better.
If I was still fit enough to beach fish,I'd start at low tide over to the right as you look out to sea.
If you don't know the area,it's not the car park with the rocks,there is a beach further up towards Rhyl.Come off the A55 at Llandulas,go through Llandulas and just over the river there is a left turn.
That takes you down to the beach and pub/cafe car park.(easy parking)
