Moel Y Don 31/01/18

After the no show on the Cod front last Saturday at T Bay I had a site survey Wednesday organised at Trearddur Bay result I thought . But the 31mph westerly wind put a stop to that



A quick look at the conditions then headed back over the island and to Moel-y-don for a quick session with one pack of fresh lug from Harry’s Tackle

Arrived at 5:30pm just after low and swiftly set up. It’s a great venue 100m walk from the car / van and you at the waters edge.



A blank saving Whiting and an Anemone

Another couple of Whiting then some decent tip action and a double header a dog fish of 14oz and a Cod weighing in at 3 result!! Whoop whoop!!!

Packed up at 7:30pm after a few more Whiting the tide and weed got the better of me.

But it’s a great easy location with little tackle losses ( 50lbs braid straight through )

Low was 5:20pm 0.2m
