Hi All,

Well to say it was packed was an under statement, 3 fishing clubs were there. Southport cancelled their match as there wasn't enough room, some found a gap and others went elsewhere.
I figured since the reports had been poor for the area recently that the big tides and lack of rain for 4 days should have cleaned out the fresh water and that hopefully the fish should be back.

It was cold, not much wind but it did increase slightly as the skies darkend. People may not like the next bit but I had my youngest and my brothers youngest so took a fold down bbq and put some fire logs in it to keep us warm! Was really good to warm up the hand after catching.

It was a decent session as we had plenty fish, all whiting and dabs and quite a few of them. The biggest whiting had a big growth in its mouth which was strange.
